Our story
Silk, made to be worn.
Silk Scarfs began with one conviction: the most beautiful scarf is the one you actually wear. Knotted at the neck on a Monday, tied in the hair on a Saturday, looped on a bag on the way out.
01The idea
Out of the drawer
Almost everyone owns one: a silk square too precious to risk, folded away for an occasion that never comes.
We wanted the opposite. Scarves chosen to be tied, untied and tied again, in prints that make an ordinary day feel a little less ordinary.
A square of silk is the smallest thing in a wardrobe, and the one that changes it the most.
02The shapes
From skinny scarf to shawl
A 2 in (5 cm) skinny scarf for a ponytail or a bag handle. The 21 in (53 cm) bandana, our most common size, for the neck and the hair. Squares for a softer knot, and 51 in (130 cm) shawls to wrap around the shoulders.
Sizes are written in inches, with centimeters alongside, so you always know what you are choosing.
03The prints
Chosen print by print
Florals, equestrian motifs, leopard, paisley. We choose each print for its colors and for the way it looks once knotted, not only laid flat.
That is why every scarf is shown both ways, and why every page names its fiber in plain words.
