What a black scarf goes with
Black gives the most contrast against light clothes: a white shirt, a camel coat, gray knitwear, a cream sweater. Questions about the black silk scarf
Is black too harsh to wear close to the face?
Plain black draws a strong line under the chin. If that feels severe, choose a print that brings a light color near the face, the cream chains of Buckle Star or the white stars of Solar Border, or wear the black lower, as a bandana triangle at an open collar.
Does a black scarf go with brown or navy?
Yes, especially when the scarf brings a third, lighter color. Cream chains, gold scrolls or white stars sit between the two dark tones and keep black from merging with a navy coat or a brown jacket.
