Tiled Lilies: The Yellow Lily of the Valley Silk Square Scarf

The center is laid out like a tiled floor in butter yellow. Each tile holds a thin olive circle, and inside it a sprig of lily of the valley: arching green leaves and a stem of small white bells. Rows of tiles alternate with narrow bands of olive scrollwork. A cream border repeats the curling scrolls, and a fine olive stitched edge runs all around. The folded corner shows a pale, faded version of the grid on the reverse.
