Three Colorways in One Leopard Print Silk Shawl Set Of 3

Leopards fill every square, drawn so close together that their spotted coats overlap from edge to edge. The first shawl pairs tawny and plum-brown leopards with an orange border. The second turns them cobalt, sky blue and gray-white, with one tawny cat among them and a navy edge. The third mixes tawny orange and silver-gray leopards inside a leaf green border. A turned corner on each one shows the paler reverse.

How to Wear a Leopard Print Silk Scarf Three Ways

Drape the orange and brown shawl over the shoulders and let the point fall at the front. Wrap the blue one around the waist as a sarong for the beach or the pool. Pull the orange and gray one over the head and let the ends fall open down the front for a hooded wrap on a windy day. Every leopard we sell sits in our animal print silk scarves.

Measurements and Care of Each Leopard Silk Shawl

One size for all three: 51 × 51 in (130 × 130 cm), roomy enough to drape, knot or wrap. Hand wash each shawl separately in cool water with a little silk shampoo, skip the wringing and dry it flat away from the sun. Care instructions

Silk is a protein fiber. Treat it the way you treat hair.

  1. Hand wash, coldTwo minutes in cold water with a detergent made for silk or wool.
  2. Never a biological detergentIts enzymes break down protein, and silk is protein. No bleach either.
  3. Press, then dry flatRoll it in a towel to take the water out. Never wring it.
  4. Out of the sunDirect light fades dye. Dry it flat in the shade, not on a radiator.
  5. Iron damp, on the reverseLowest setting, no steam, and keep the iron off the hem.
  6. Store it loosely rolledRolled loosely in a drawer, away from light. A tight fold leaves a crease.

Dry cleaning works too: ask for silk, no solvent on the hem.
