A Multicolor Dog Print Skinny Silk Scarf Set in a Jungle

Small black and white terriers bound through a crowded jungle on this ribbon. Bright green and cobalt leaves, pink and yellow patches and blue dotted shapes stack up like a collage, with panels of brown leopard spots tucked between them. Near one tip a terrier peers straight out, its face drawn in navy. That end switches to bold black and pale pink diagonal stripes and finishes in a slanted lemon-yellow tip.

Silk Dog Scarf Styling: Neck, Wrist and Bag

With a knot just off-center at the neck, the striped tip and the terrier face hang together at the front. Wrapped around the wrist, the jungle colors pile up into a bracelet. Care instructions

Silk is a protein fiber. Treat it the way you treat hair.

  1. Hand wash, coldTwo minutes in cold water with a detergent made for silk or wool.
  2. Never a biological detergentIts enzymes break down protein, and silk is protein. No bleach either.
  3. Press, then dry flatRoll it in a towel to take the water out. Never wring it.
  4. Out of the sunDirect light fades dye. Dry it flat in the shade, not on a radiator.
  5. Iron damp, on the reverseLowest setting, no steam, and keep the iron off the hem.
  6. Store it loosely rolledRolled loosely in a drawer, away from light. A tight fold leaves a crease.

Dry cleaning works too: ask for silk, no solvent on the hem.
