This skinny scarf reads like a comic strip of a house seen from inside. Panels in hot pink, butter yellow and orange show a kitchen counter, shelves of cups, a table set with a cake and a striped awning, all outlined in fine gray. Further down, a pink blossom tree grows out of a brown garden full of magenta roses. Chocolate brown fills the ends, with white clouds and a small biplane on one of them.

Care instructions

Silk is a protein fiber. Treat it the way you treat hair.

  1. Hand wash, coldTwo minutes in cold water with a detergent made for silk or wool.
  2. Never a biological detergentIts enzymes break down protein, and silk is protein. No bleach either.
  3. Press, then dry flatRoll it in a towel to take the water out. Never wring it.
  4. Out of the sunDirect light fades dye. Dry it flat in the shade, not on a radiator.
  5. Iron damp, on the reverseLowest setting, no steam, and keep the iron off the hem.
  6. Store it loosely rolledRolled loosely in a drawer, away from light. A tight fold leaves a crease.

Dry cleaning works too: ask for silk, no solvent on the hem.
