An Ivory Watercolor Floral Silk Bandana: One Open Flower
A single flower takes up almost the whole square, its white petals washed with pale lilac and gray the way wet paint spreads on paper. Violet strokes run out from an ochre and brown center, and yellow bleeds softly along the edges of the petals. The border is layered: a fine charcoal line, a cream band, then a charcoal edge. On the folded corner, the reverse shows just faint touches of the paint.
Soft Ways to Wear a Silk Flower Scarf
Folded into a band, it crosses the crown with its knot perched above one ear and the painted tips standing up. Spread as a triangle over the hair, it is fastened low at the back of the head, resting on the hair gathered at the nape. As a neckerchief, a short knot at the side of the neck lets the point rest on the chest. More squares this size sit among our silk bandanas.
Ivory Silk Scarf: Its Size and How to Care for It
Cut from silk, the bandana is 21 × 21 in (53 × 53 cm). A light silk shampoo in a basin of cold water is all it needs; skip the wringing and leave it on a dry towel, out of direct light. Our size guide puts it beside the squares.
